Does my ferret have Insulinoma?

The first time we were really scared. She was laying down hardly moving, staring off into space, drooling and to begin with she was making weird sounds. I thought maybe she was just sick. Well tonight it happen again. I looked it up online and I found out her symptoms lead up to INSULINOMA. It says I should put karo syrup on her gums to give her sugar because insulinoma is a growth in the pancreas that breaks down her sugar and leads to giving her low blood sugar. Well, I decided next time this happens I will do that. But usually she eventually gets up after about an hour or so, she is usually very week but she does regain herself. If she does have insulinoma what allows her to eventually get back up and be okay? does her blood sugar build back up? help me.
